Our Facilities
All our pitches are on grass, 46 of which have electrical hook ups.
Our newly-built shop, which is open 7 days a week, stocks fresh, frozen and canned foods, groceries, milk, bread, newspapers, camping equipment, a variety of games, toys and souvenirs, local produce, and has a license to sell wines and beers. An ice pack service is run from the shop.
The recently refurbished toilet block has underfloor heating for the cooler months. It is bright and pleasant, and houses plenty of showers and toilets, hot and cold water to all wash basins, hair drier in the ladies, and shaver points in the gents. There are also separate facilities for the disabled, a family shower room with baby change facilities and a chemical toilet disposal point. Constant attention is paid by the owners to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
The laundry provides automatic washing machines and spin and tumble driers. Ironing and baby bathing facilities are available. The laundry room is where you will find a wide range of information on local attractions and activities to help you make the most of your time at the Red Shoot.
An undercover area is provided with hot water at sinks and drainers for dish-washing. You will need your own washing up bowl as sink plugs are not supplied.
The play area has recently been upgraded and has a sandpit, balance beam and stepping stones for our younger customers and a rope climbing frame and activity castle with fireman's pole, rope bridge and swing bridge for the more adventurous children.
Dogs are most welcome but of course must be kept on leads at all times, must not be left unattended and not allowed to foul in the site. |
